In the courses, Econ 2310-Empirical methods in economics, Econ 5311/5312, and Econ 5318-Panel Data Econometrics, students can learn how to develop and utilize econometrics method by emphasizing on an identification of causal effect and software applied to quantitative problems. Students have specific applications to labor economics and public policy in the economics of education. Throughout the course, students are actively involved with computer exercises with real data and empirical project using the statistical package like STATA.

Besides, I am also leading Ph.D. level graduate courses in Econometrics (ECON 6310), Electives in Econometrics (ECON 6498), and Graduate Seminar in Econometrics (ECON 6494). 1) ECON 5311 (Graduate, MSQE)
- Applied Econometrics 1

2) ECON 5312 (Graduate MSQE)
- Applied Econometrics 2

3) ECON 5318 (Graduate MSQE)
- Panel Data Econometrics

4) ECON 2311 (Undergraduate)

The main theme of my research is finding new knowledge about the statistical properties of Generalized Methods of Moments (GMM) and (non) stationary time-series models that are widely used to test hypotheses developed from economic theory. Besides, I am also interested in collaborating with applied economists to contribute my skills in econometric theory to a solid quantitative analysis in economic questions.
